Hope’s Happy Hounds are looking for like-minded people to join our team of expert pet carers and dog walkers. You will be caring for dogs, cats and little pets (hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish etc) in the course of your work with us.

You must have a full UK Driving License and be available Monday to Friday during the daytime. You must be an animal lover who enjoys the outdoors and willing to walk dogs in all weathers.

we’re looking for enthusiastic pet lovers who love the idea of getting out and about walking dogs, with the support of an incredible team who care about your long-term progression to help us with the ever-growing demand for our services!

Working Pattern

Candidates will need to be available flexibly Monday to Friday from 9/10am-2/3pm. This is a variable hour contract for part time hours approx. 15 – 20 per week. We particularly welcome applications from those who may struggle with a 9-5 job due to family commitments. Shifts are allocated on a weekly rota basis.

Requirements:

A love for animals
Like the outdoors and walking
Full UK Drivers Licence
Own vehicle essential to transport dogs
Must have or be willing to take DBS Check
Experience with pets preferred but not required
Available between 9am-3pm Monday-Friday

About You

Team members will receive training so professional pet care experience is not required, but if you’re interested in this role you must be confident with handling dogs and being out on the road. You’ll need a full UK driving license and have use of a vehicle (with appropriate insurance) – mileage and travel time is paid on top of hourly wage.

You’ll have a “can-do” approach and be confident in talking to people about your work as you’ll be engaging with members of the public and representing our brand.

You must have your own car and clean driving license and be able to transport dogs safely in your own vehicle (you will be supplied with safety equipment to be used to secure the dogs whilst travelling).

Applicant will need to be fit and able to walk between 2 – 6 hours a day in all weathers!
